Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

DBF Digital (ABN 57 466 711 378) is an Australian digital marketing business. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when we work with clients, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you contact us through the website, we collect the details you enter in the form:

  • your name, email address and phone number
  • your business name
  • the service you are interested in
  • the message you send us

When you become a client, we also collect the information we need to deliver the work, such as business and billing details, and access to the accounts and systems we manage for you (for example your website, advertising and analytics accounts).

Like most websites, our hosting provider and security tools may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit. If we add analytics tools to this site, they may also collect usage information using cookies.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals or quotes
  • to deliver, manage and invoice the services we provide to clients
  • to keep this website secure and working properly
  • to meet our legal and tax obligations

We only use the details from our contact form to reply to your enquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business, such as website hosting, email, accounting and payment providers, and the platforms we use on behalf of clients. Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. Where we can, we choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to Australian law.

Cookies

This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work and stay secure. If we add analytics or advertising tools, they may set additional cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work as well.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using secure hosting, access controls and strong passwords. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@dbfdigital.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Questions or complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, email us at info@dbfdigital.com.au and we will investigate and reply. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If something goes wrong

If a data breach happens that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will act on it quickly and, where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
